A portion of the royalties of Acts of Atonement and Acts of Assumption will be donated to The New York Women's Foundation's NYC Fund for Girls and Young Women of Color in support of all the diverse, fearless, hard-working, responsible, brilliant, enterprising girls and young women who were the inspiration for the novel's two protagonists--and on whose strong shoulders rests the future of our city.
